ATTEN S11 Universal Soldering Iron Stand
ATTEN S11 universal soldering iron stand: powder-coated steel base, removable stainless sponge tray and a ventilated cradle on an adjustable pivot
Somewhere safe
to put 400 °C.
The ATTEN S11 is a universal stand for pencil-style soldering handles: a powder-coated steel tray, a removable stainless sponge dish and a ventilated cradle that can be angled to suit the way you work.
It matters most for irons that carry their own controller and arrive without a base unit — the ST-2065D is the obvious one — but it is equally the answer for a second working position, a portable kit, or a station stand that has gone missing.
Not sure it fits your iron? ATTEN calls it universal but publishes no model list. Send us your model number or a photo of the handle and we will confirm the fit before you order.
Four parts, and each one earns its place
Powder-coated steel base
A low, wide tray rather than a moulded plastic foot — it stays where you put it when you pull the iron out one-handed.
Removable stainless sponge tray
A steel tray sits in a recess in the base, so it lifts out to be emptied and refilled instead of being cleaned in place.
Ventilated holder barrel
The barrel is pierced with rows of slots along its length. Heat leaves through them rather than collecting around the handle.
Adjustable angle
The bracket pivots on a thumbscrew and bolts to the base, so the cradle can be set to the angle and side that suit your hand.
The cheapest insurance on the bench
A soldering iron at working temperature is somewhere between 300 °C and 480 °C. Resting it on the bench, in a drawer or against a cable is how benches get scarred, insulation gets melted and irons get pulled onto the floor by their own lead.
It contains the heat
The cradle holds the hot end clear of everything, and the slots let the heat out instead of trapping it against the handle.
It puts the tip back
A funnel entry means you can rack the iron without looking — which is the only way a stand actually gets used.
It keeps the tip clean
Cleaning material sits where your hand already goes, so the tip gets wiped between joints rather than once a session.

Tell us which iron you have
We check fit before you order rather than after — send the model number or a photo of the handle and we will tell you straight away whether this stand takes it.
Frequently asked questions
Will it fit my soldering iron?
ATTEN describes it as a universal stand, and the funnel-shaped collar is sized for the ordinary pencil-style handles used across the ATTEN range. What ATTEN does not publish is a model-by-model compatibility list, and we would rather not invent one. Tell us which iron you have — or send a photo of the handle — and we will confirm the fit before you order.
Is a sponge included?
The photograph shows the steel tray empty and ATTEN publishes no packing list, so please do not count on one. Any standard soldering sponge cut to size will sit in the tray. If you would rather not use a wet sponge at all, the CS-05B brass-wool cleaner is the better tool anyway.
Why not just use the stand that came with my station?
If you have one, do. This stand exists for the cases where you have not: an iron such as the ST-2065D that controls its own temperature and has no base unit, a second working position, a stand that has been lost or damaged, or a portable kit that needs its own.
Sponge or brass wool?
Brass wool, for preference. A wet sponge drops the tip temperature sharply every time you wipe, and that thermal cycling is hard on the plating; brass wool cleans without cooling the tip. The sponge tray on this stand is still useful — many people keep the wool in it, or use the sponge for the first heavy clean of the day.
What are its dimensions?
ATTEN does not publish them, and we will not estimate from a photograph. It is a compact bench stand of the usual proportions — the base is a little longer than the sponge tray and the cradle. If the exact footprint matters because bench space is tight, ask and we will measure one.
ATTEN publishes no datasheet, dimensions or compatibility list for this accessory. The description above is based on the manufacturer's own product photograph and is provided for guidance only; details may change without notice. Where a figure is not published we say so rather than estimate it — if the exact size or the fit to a particular handle matters, please ask us before ordering and we will check a physical unit.
